I’ve been following this skincare routine for a few months now and I’ve really noticed how soft and glowy my skin has become in such a short period of time. I do it both in the morning and before I go to bed, with just one added product in my nighttime routine. From start to finish my whole skincare routine only takes about five minutes.
Step One (optional): Makeup Removal
I don’t wear makeup most days but when I do I’ll remove it with micellar water, my current favourite is Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water. I put a small amount on a cotton pad and rub it on my skin to remove any makeup I’m wearing, usually three to four cotton pads is enough to remove everything.
Step Two: Cleansing
I then wet my face with warm water and use Boot’s Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash to cleanse my face. I love this as my face always feels really clean and fresh after using it.
Step Three: Toner
After washing my face I then use Boot’s Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Toner, which I apply with a cotton pad. This helps to tone my skin as well as tightening and unblocking pores.
Step Four: Serum
Hyaluronic acid helps to hydrate and plump skin as well as reducing the appearance of fine lines. My personal favourite is by The Inkey List.
Step Five: Moisturiser
The final step in my skincare routine is moisturiser. I’m currently using Vegan Fox Face Moisturiser. I love this moisturiser because it doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily or shiny, it absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving it dry or irritated.
